Summary:
Personal Branding
For my bachelor’s final project, I created a personal brand using a transparent map-based graphic of key life locations. It was applied across formats including 3D-printed jewelry, plastic business cards and showcased at New Blood Design Awards.

Finalizing my bachelor we were tasked with preparing for the next step in life and that included defining a brand identity to help show us off after completed university degree.

My visual branding became a graphical element created of the most important locations in my life from Norway and England. It could be placed upon a map to reveal the locations. This lead to use of transparency to emphasize the experience and excitement of using the map for storytelling.

To show off the flexibility with my graphical element I also made a 3D printed jewelry used for personal branding.

I engraved business cards prototypes in plastic at Teesside University and after a while found a printing company willing to print on plastic. This was a rare occasion that none of us had seen before. After showcasing in London at New Blood Design Awards we could see a clear enhancement with use of transparent business cards in the following years in United Kingdom.

Another highlight of my personal branding was an infographic displaying learnings and personal development over time to shape who I had become at that time in life. This infographic was named LIFETIME as a humorous play on my name and the core purpose of the project LIFETIME = LIVSTID in Norwegian.
